David De Trolio, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully in a nursing home on September 15, 2026, surrounded by love and warmth. Born on November 27, 1961, in Moses Lake, Washington, David lived a life filled with purpose, dedication, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. David was the beloved son of Frank De Trolio and the late Audrey De Trolio. He grew up in a family that valued hard work and community, values that David carried with him throughout his life. His mother, Audrey Guinter, grandparents, nephew Cody De Trolio, and several uncles and aunts predeceased him, and he is now reunited with them in eternal peace. David shared a close bond with his surviving family, including his father, Frank, and stepmother, Charlene De Trolio. He was a devoted brother to KL ( Buck) Naff, Michael, Frank Jr., Eric, and his sister, Shelley Rushton. David was also a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews, and he leaves behind numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles who will miss him dearly. For over 25 years, David dedicated himself to his work at REC, where he was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and kind-hearted presence, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. Outside of work, David found joy in the tranquility of nature. He was an avid fisherman and took great pride in cultivating his garden and yard. These hobbies brought him peace and satisfaction, reflecting his appreciation for life's simple pleasures. A service to honor David's life will be held at the Huck Fuller Building at the Grant County Fairgrounds. The family invites all who knew him to join in celebrating the remarkable life he led and the legacy he leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting David's generous spirit and his lifelong commitment to helping others.
