After completing high school, he served with honor in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, stationed in North Carolina as a Specialist. His service was a testament to his commitment and courage, qualities that remained with him throughout his life.
Following his military service, David embarked on a successful 25-year career in residential real estate in Eugene, Oregon. His expertise and dedication to his clients made him a respected figure in the community. Yet, ever the adventurer, David and his beloved wife of 52 years, Patti, decided to embrace a new chapter and relocated to Lincoln Beach, Oregon. There, he thrived in the timeshare sales industry, a role that allowed him and Patti to explore new places and create countless cherished memories.
David was a man of passions. He held a deep-rooted love for the Oregon Ducks, proudly holding season tickets for many years. His enthusiasm for the game was only surpassed by his devotion to his family. He was a caring and supportive father to his daughter Kelsey and her husband Daryl, and a doting grandfather to his grandson, Lance. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
David's legacy is one of warmth, kindness, and an unwavering zest for life. His generosity and spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves behind his devoted wife Patti, his loving daughter Kelsey, her husband Daryl, and his treasured grandson, Lance.
