David Bramlett, born on July 16, 1941, in Piedmont, Alabama, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. He was surrounded by his family, who cherished him deeply throughout his life. David was the beloved son of the late Earl and Dorothy Bramlett, and he joins them in eternal rest alongside his siblings Gaines, Gathern, Orvil, Judy, Larry, and Sandra, his devoted wife Evon, and a child, Evette. David's journey began in the heart of Alabama, where he graduated from Spring Garden High School in 1961. Driven by a sense of duty and patriotism, David served proudly as a United States Marine. His service to his country was a testament to his strong character and unwavering sense of responsibility. Following his military service, David embarked on a distinguished career as a machinist, dedicating 24 years to Gulf Coast Machine and Supply in Beaumont, Texas. His work ethic and passion for his craft led him to establish his own business, Bramlett Machine Repair, which he successfully operated until his retirement in 2023. David's life was rich with love, laughter, and adventure. He was known for his mischievous smile and bright blue eyes, often revealing his love for storytelling and his insatiable curiosity. An avid golfer, David found joy on the greens, competing in numerous tournaments and sharing this passion with friends and family. His zest for life extended to travel, where he delighted in visiting new places and enjoying the thrill of a good casino trip. David is survived by his loving children, David Bramlett Jr. and Loretta Bramlett, who carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. His surviving siblings, Patricia Getsinger, Peggy Haggard, and Joyce Bounds, remember him fondly, cherishing the memories they shared. David's memory also lives on through his grandchildren, Leslie, Laura, and Michael, as well as his great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Kyleigh, Skyleigh, Aidyn, Akira, Benjamin, and Vanaille, who filled his life with immeasurable joy and pride. A service to honor David's remarkable life will be held on July 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM till 12 pm at the Faith and Family Funeral Home, located at 40847 TX-105, Batson TX 77519 the graveside services will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Cemetery in Port Neches TX at 3 pm. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Joyce Bounds, Leslie Wiggins, Loretta Bramlett, Michael Holmes, and David Bramlett Jr. for their devoted care and unwavering support during his illness. David Bramlett's legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Our family welcomes all who wish to attend.
