David Wayne Ray

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of David Wayne Ray, 39 of Jefferson,WI. on July 19, 2026, at his home due to unexpected health complications. He was the beloved son of Sharon Coleman (Steve) and David Russell Ray (Tammy), born November 19, 1986 in El Dorado Arkansas. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Zella Ray (Memaw Betty) and his stepfather of 24 years, Stephen Paul Coleman, who played an important role in his life. David is survived by his parents, his loving grandparents, Jimmy and Nancy Moore of El Dorado, AR. A son whom he cherished, Jayden Ray (Christina and Logan) of Watertown, WI. His sister Stevie Marie Tarver, two nephews, Jordan and David of El Dorado AR. And His life partner, Kara Brooks of Jefferson, WI. Their relationship was a testament of partnership providing each other with strength and joy through their journey. David's life and laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Though he has left us too soon, his legacy will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. No service will be held, Per the family request to celebrate David's life and honor his memory in private. The family extends their gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time. David's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
