In Loving Memory of Darysha E. Hite It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Darysha E. Hite, who left us unexpectedly on August 4, 2026, at Trinity Health Mercy Campus in Muskegon, Michigan. Born on April 28, 1981, in Shelby, Michigan, Darysha was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and friend whose presence enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Darysha was the beloved daughter of Julie Hite and Darryl Ridley. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she held a special bond with each member. She is survived by her loving parents, siblings Danielle (Steve) Garten of Walkerville, MI, Ryan Ridley, and Evan Ridley. Her cherished children, Lytenit and Lukrytiv Hite, were the light of her life, and her nurturing spirit was felt deeply by her special niece JeHara Davis and goddaughter I'Yanla Tate/Farmer. Her legacy of love also extends to her remaining grandparents, Julius Ridley, and her aunts and uncles, including Cedric Ridley, Julio Casiano, Fredrick Ridley, Fee Fee Williams, and Julie Marie Ridley. Darysha's life was enriched by the friendships she cultivated over the years. Her close friends, Dannica Brown, Charmaine Raglin, Youshemia Phillips, Sherrita Hopkins, Tammy Farmer, and Stalina White, were like family to her, and together they shared countless moments of joy and laughter. A proud graduate of Muskegon Heights Public School, Darysha dedicated her career to serving others as a Medic Transport professional. Her colleagues remember her as a hardworking and committed woman who approached her work with dedication and pride. Her selfless spirit and kind heart were evident in everything she did, and her beautiful laugh could brighten even the darkest days. Darysha found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved cooking for her family and friends, creating an atmosphere of warmth and love around her. Her pets were her constant companions, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Though she was a private and quiet person, those fortunate enough to know her appreciated her unwavering work ethic and the kindness that flowed naturally from her. Darysha was predeceased by her grandmothers, Mildred Hite and Addie B. Ridley; uncles Bruce Hite and Kevin Mcleary; and stepfather Wilson Peppers of Muskegon, MI. She joins them now in eternal peace. A service to celebrate Darysha's life is to be announced. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Carter Funeral Home, Trinity Health Mercy Campus for their dedicated efforts, and to everyone who has come to pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Darysha's memory to a charity of your choice. As we say farewell to Darysha, we hold onto the memories of her love and kindness. She was truly an angel called home far too soon, and she will remain "Forever in our hearts."
