Daryl Keith Roberts, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 48. Born on October 2, 1977, to Courtney and Linda Roberts, Daryl was a source of joy and laughter to everyone around him, known for his love of riding horses and his infectious, contagious laugh that could light up any room.
Daryl grew up in a family filled with love and companionship. Predeceased by his parents, Courtney and Linda, his sister Stephanie, brother Anthony, and his grandparents, James and Maggie Roberts, Bernice Monroe, Horace and Minnie Adams, Daryl cherished the memories shared with them. His legacy lives on through his two sons, Devonte Threadgill of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Dashawn Dixon of Idabel, Oklahoma. He was a proud grandfather to Jahziah Dixon and Kaylon Threadgill, who brought immense joy into his life.
He is survived by his brothers Gary Roberts of Idabel and Juan Roberts of Tulsa, and his sister Tracy Fields of Haworth. Daryl also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and countless other relatives and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Daryl's passion for life and laughter extended beyond his family and friends. He was an avid horse rider, finding peace and happiness in the freedom and connection he felt with his horses. His laughter, a cherished memory for many, was a reminder of the joy he brought into every encounter.
A service to honor and celebrate Daryl's life will be held on June 6, 2026, at the Community Missionary Baptist Church in Tom, Oklahoma. Friends and family are invited to gather to remember a man whose spirit and laughter touched many lives.
Daryl's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. He lived a life filled with laughter, love, and joy, which he shared generously with those around him. As we say goodbye, we remember him for the light he brought into our lives and the love he gave unconditionally.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his laughter echo in our hearts forever.
