Darryl Page

September 23, 1950 — October 13, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Darryl Page, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on October 13, 2026. Born on September 23, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri, Darryl was the beloved son of the late Ernest Page and Lottie Smith. He was also preceded in death by his dear sister, Joyce Lamar. Darryl was a man whose quiet demeanor belied a strong, unwavering personality. His life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and love. After attending Vashon High School, he embarked on a career as a Silk Screen Printer, where he skillfully crafted signs and graphics for billboards. Later, he joined BJC as a Central Processor, a role he held until his retirement in 2013. However, true to his nature, Darryl didn't stay retired for long. In 2016, he resumed work at the YMCA as a Housekeeping Supervisor, a position he embraced until his final retirement in 2022. His colleagues and friends will always remember his exceptional work ethic and his readiness to lend a helping hand. In his personal life, Darryl was the center of a loving family. On September 6, 1989, he married his soulmate, Jessie Page, in St. Louis. Over the course of their 37-year marriage, they raised four wonderful children: Stephen Page, Monica Townson, Stacey Little, and Dionne Little-Jones (Christopher). Darryl's legacy of love and strength continues through his grandchildren, Gelisa Jeffries, Genell Reynolds (Daniel), Sydney McFowland, and Caylah Jones, as well as his four great-grandchildren. Darryl found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fan of spades and R&B music, enjoyed watching the ID channel, and had a passion for barbecuing, regardless of the weather. His love for these activities reflected his zest for life and his ability to find happiness in everyday moments. A celebration of Darryl's life will take place on October 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Baucom's Celebration of Life, located at 9480 Lewis and Clark Blvd. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Darryl's memory to a charity of choice, reflecting his generous spirit and desire to help others. Darryl Page will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, strength, and kindness will endure in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
