Darrin Draine
November 14, 1969 — August 7, 2026
It is with heavy hearts yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Darrin Draine, who departed this world on August 7, 2026. Born on November 14, 1969, in the vibrant city of Saint Louis, Missouri, Darrin was the cherished son of Maryann Draine and Joe Fair. He is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved parents and brother, Ted Draine.
Darrin's journey through life was marked by an unwavering love for his family and an infectious zest for living. His daughters, Darrinisha Draine and Maryana Draine, were the light of his life, and he found immense joy in the presence of his granddaughter, Sarah. His playful sense of humor, affectionate personality, and contagious laughter will forever be etched in the hearts of his siblings, Kenneth Draine, Terrance Draine, John Perdue, Jerome Perdue, Yvette Perdue, and Vanette Perdue.
A graduate of Soldan High School, Darrin discovered his true calling in the construction industry, where his natural talent and skill with his hands flourished. He was a man who embraced the outdoors with enthusiasm and possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of music, never failing to identify any artist, title, or song with ease.
Darrin's faith was a guiding light throughout his life, having been baptized at Tabernacle Baptist Church at a young age. He carried the teachings of the Good Lord in his heart, and his community felt his warmth and generosity. Darrin was known for his willingness to help others, always offering a hand to those in need.
Although Darrin had a unique perspective on love, famously known for his discerning eye for women, he held an unwavering devotion to those he loved. His family and friends were his world, and he reveled in their company, celebrating the simple joys of life with them.
A celebration of Darrin's life will be held on September 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Serenity, located on Union. The family invites all who knew Darrin to join them in remembering the remarkable man he was. In lieu of flowers, donations in Darrin's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
