Darren Wayne Holley, a beloved son, brother, and friend, left this world far too soon on September 1, 2026, at the age of 27. Born on January 19, 1999, in Okeechobee, Florida, Darren's life, though brief, was filled with joy, adventure, and an infectious zest for life.
Darren was the cherished son of Sarah King and James Darren Holley, who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was the loving brother to Hannah Holley and Tyler Holley, with whom he shared countless adventures and memories. Darren is also survived by his grandmothers, Mary King and Elvis Delores Koebernick, who adored him deeply. His family circle extended to his beloved aunties, Rebekka Fretis and Marie King, and his uncle, Paul Wayne King II. Darren's lively spirit and warmth will be remembered fondly by his nieces, Teyanna Young, Saige Holley, and Wrenlee Mills, as well as his nephews, Paul Wayne King III and Mason King.
Darren's life was enriched by his love of gaming, a nightly ritual he enjoyed with his friends. Known for his adventurous spirit, Darren lived each day fully, embracing every moment with laughter and joy. He had an incredible ability to make those around him smile, and his caring nature and big heart left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Paul Wayne King, whose memory Darren held dear.
A memorial service to celebrate Darren's life will be held on September 14, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the Kissimmee riverside in Okeechobee, Florida, located at 10101 SR 78 West. Family and friends are invited to gather, share fond memories, and participate in a candle lighting and the release of ashes, a tribute to the light and joy Darren brought to our lives.
In the words of his family, "Your life was a beautiful one, and I will never forget the times we shared. Rest in Peace, my brother."
