January 19, 1999 — September 1, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Darren Wayne Holley, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world suddenly on September 1, 2026 in North Carolina. Darren was born on January 19, 1999, in Wellington, Florida. He was raised in Okeechobee, FL where he spent his formative years growing into a remarkable young man. Darren was the cherished son of James Darren Holley and Sarah King, and he shared a close bond with his siblings, brother Tyler Holley and sister Hannah Holley. He was a light in the lives of his grandmothers, Delores Koebernick and Mary King, as well as his aunts, Rebekah Freitas, and husband Emerson, and Deanna Ousley, uncle Paul King II and his wife Marie, and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Darren was predeceased by his grandfather, Paul Wayne King, whose legacy of kindness and warmth Darren carried forward in his own unique way. Darren's life was filled with passions that brought joy to both himself and those around him. He found great pleasure in playing video games with his friends, where his quick wit and sense of humor were always on full display. Darren was also an avid fan of anime, finding inspiration and entertainment in the vibrant stories and characters. His love for nature was profound, and he found peace and happiness in the great outdoors, where he often retreated to reflect and recharge. Those who knew Darren will remember his deep capacity for love and his ability to bring laughter into any room. His genuine nature and caring spirit touched everyone he met, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Darren's humor was infectious, and his laughter was a balm to those around him, creating memories that will be treasured forever. In memory of Darren, those wishing to honor his life may consider donating to a charity of their choice, reflecting Darren's own spirit of generosity and care for others. As we mourn the loss of Darren, we also celebrate the beautiful life he led, a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
