His pride and joy, his son, Joshua Ross Perkins of College Station, Texas, carries forward Darren's legacy with his own bright spirit. Darren's sister, Jean Perkins Barnett, and her husband, Steven, along with his brother, Allen Perkins, provided him with a lifelong bond and shared memories that will be treasured forever. Darren was also a beloved uncle to Hayden Joseph Taylor and leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were deeply touched by his kindness and humor.
