Born on October 19, 1989, in Detroit, Michigan, Darlene was a beacon of love, strength, and resilience to all who knew her. Darlene was the cherished daughter of Mary Shufford and Willie Parker, who survive her. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Christina, her brother Deon, her Auntie Pattie, and her cousin Tiffany, whose memories she carried close to her heart. Throughout her life, Darlene was known for her unwavering love for her family and friends. A woman of boundless energy and warmth, she found joy in music, dancing, and celebrating life with her loved ones. Her family was at the center of her world, and she was known for her loyalty and fierce protection of those she held dear. Darlene had an undeniable talent for making people feel special, and her laughter could light up any room. Darlene's journey in education led her to obtain her GED and pursue a career as a med tech, a role she held with immense pride and dedication. She had various jobs, but found her true calling in the medical field, where she could extend her compassion and care to those in need. A significant turning point in Darlene's life came when she returned to church, strengthening her faith and finding solace in her spiritual journey. Her newfound devotion brought her peace and a deeper connection to her community. Darlene is survived by her loving sisters Felisha Parker, Nikia Fann her brother Matthew Parker, and along with aunt and uncles multitude of nieces, nephews, and great-nephews, who will forever cherish her memory. She leaves behind her devoted boyfriend, Curtis, who stood by her side through thick and thin. In her final message, Darlene wanted to assure everyone that she is now in a better place, free from pain. She lovingly asks for everyone to take care of her parents, ensuring their wellbeing and happiness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Darlene's honor, continuing her legacy of kindness and generosity. Darlene Parker's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and faith. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
