It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Darius Defour, a cherished son, devoted father, and talented artist, who left this world on September 8, 2026. Born on June 16, 1996, in Bellflower, CA, Darius enriched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth, creativity, and unwavering dedication to his passions. Darius was a proud graduate of 109th Elementary, Bethune Middle School, Bothell High School in Seattle, Washington, and Laguna Hills High School. His education laid the foundation for a diverse career that spanned from cinematography and music artistry to content creation and barbering. His talents were as varied as they were impressive, and his work touched many through his involvement with organizations such as True Voice of Faith and The Way Christian Fellowship, where he joyfully contributed to video church events and other creative endeavors. A man of many interests, Darius found joy in writing and recording music, capturing moments with a camera, and helping those around him. He was a true connoisseur of tennis shoes and enjoyed the camaraderie of video gaming with friends and family. His commitment to service and community was evident in his work with the Black Liberation Foundation, where he participated in hosting and camera work for their "I am Express Yourself" initiative. Darius will be deeply missed by his surviving family, including his beloved son, Ezaun Kenyontae Brown Defour, and Ezaun's mother, Yasman Brown. He is also survived by his loving parents, Anna Michelle Burgos and Ronnie Ricarldo Defour, his brother, Christopher Stephan Defour, and a host of devoted family members, including grandparents, Santo Burgos and Earlyn Alexander, uncles Adalberto Burgos and Darren Defour, and his godsister, Chary Mona' Crampton. His extended family of uncles, aunties, and cousins mourn his loss and celebrate the life he lived. Darius was predeceased by his great-grandmothers, Emelia Josephine Defour and Maudlyn Alexander; his grandmother, Anna Luisa Vazquez Burgos; his grandfather, Ramey Ricardo Defour; and his uncle, Jose Morales. They now welcome him into eternal peace. In every aspect of his life, Darius exemplified resilience, authenticity, and integrity. He was a compassionate soul, always motivated to encourage and uplift those around him. His fairness, diligence, and responsibility were matched only by his love for tradition, unity, and collaboration. Darius's life was a testament to the power of service, and his legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know him. May his memory be a blessing and his spirit continue to inspire creativity, love, and unity in all of us.
