In Loving Memory
Danny O’Niel Powell
August 15, 1971 — April 3, 2026
Danny O’Niel Powell, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, surrounded by those he loved. Born on August 15, 1968, in Camden, SC, Danny was a man whose gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to family left an indelible mark on all who knew and loved him.
Danny was the beloved son of Ann and Robert Powell, both of whom preceded him in death. Their love and guidance helped shape him into the remarkable man he became—a man defined by strength, kindness, and an unshakable commitment to his family.
At the center of Danny’s world were his children. He leaves behind his beloved children: Daniel Holiday, Danyria Powell, Tyasia Powell, Destiny Holiday, Tyquan Holiday, and many others who held a special place in his heart. His love for them was deep, unconditional, and unwavering—something they will carry with them forever.
He also leaves behind two loving sisters, Jasmine Halley of Camden, SC, and Latoya Powell of Greenville, SC, who will continue to cherish his memory and the bond they shared.
Danny was a proud grandfather, and his grandchildren brought him endless joy. He treasured every moment spent with them—whether it was laughter, storytelling, or simply being present.
One of Danny’s greatest joys in life was fishing. It was more than just a pastime—it was his peace. Whether standing by the water at sunrise or sharing stories about “the one that got away,” he found happiness in those quiet moments. That same calm spirit and patience carried over into how he lived his life and how he loved his family.
Danny’s presence was one of warmth, strength, and genuine love. His infectious smile, generous heart, and unwavering support touched countless lives. He was the kind of man you could count on—the kind of man who showed up, stood strong, and loved hard.
Though he is no longer here in the physical, Danny’s legacy lives on through his children, his grandchildren, his sisters, and every life he touched. His love will continue to guide, comfort, and live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
