It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Danny Martin Alexander, affectionately known as Marty, who peacefully departed this life on June 15, 2026, at the tender age of 69. Marty was surrounded by the warmth and love of his family at the Meadville Hospice House in Meadville, PA, as he journeyed into eternal rest. Marty was born on November 28, 1956, in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida. From his early days, Marty embraced life with a spirited enthusiasm and an open heart. His journey took him from the sunny shores of Florida to the serene landscapes of Pennsylvania, where he created a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. A devoted father and grandfather, Marty is survived by his beloved children: Davide Alexander and his significant other Vanessa Vice, Tom Alexander, Joe Alexander, Kimberly Alexander, and Veralynn Alexander, along with her significant other Scott Donnelly. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Cameron Mills, Justyn, Romeo Washington, Silas Washington, Kaylynn Alexander, Ophelia Donnelly, Luciano Donnelly, and Aleesia Donnelly. Each of them holds a special place in his heart, and he in theirs. Marty's extended family includes his loving nieces and nephews: Laurie Kieger, Wallace Shaw, Crystal Weinrauch, Chon Kibler, Chuck Alexander, and Tina Davis, as well as his half-brothers William Alexander of Florida and Chip Alexander of Pennsylvania, and his half-sister Sherry Alexander of Michigan. His family was his pride and joy, and he took immense pleasure in being surrounded by their love. Preceding Marty in death were his devoted parents, Margret (Jeanie) Campbell John Alexander, and his beloved siblings, sister Debra Lee Langley and brother Gary Allen Alexander, affectionately known as "Bean." Marty now joins them in eternal peace, a reunion of love and light. Marty's life will be celebrated at a graveside service on July 11, 2026, at 1 p.m., at the Cochranton Cemetery. Following the service, friends and family are invited to join together for a luncheon to share memories, stories, and the warmth of community that Marty so deeply cherished. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Marty's generous spirit and his lifelong commitment to helping others. Marty's legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness. He touched the lives of all who knew him with his gentle spirit and unwavering devotion.
