Danny Lee Mcnabb
March 15, 1960 — May 4, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Danny Lee McNabb, who left this world peacefully on May 4, 2026, at Hamilton Medical Center. Born on March 15, 1960, in the charming town of Dalton, Georgia, Danny was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend to many. His journey through life was one marked by love, dedication, and service that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Danny was the cherished son of Martha Sue Ingle and Frank McNabb, and he was predeceased by his beloved parents, his grandparents Cecil and Bessie Brewer, and F.H. & Mattie Lou McNabb. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 20 years, Linda, with whom he shared many beautiful memories and a deep and abiding love.
Danny's life was a testament to dedication and service. After graduating from high school, he answered the call of duty and served honorably in the United States Army from 1979 to 1985. Those six years of service were a source of pride for Danny, and they exemplified his unwavering commitment to his country.
His greatest joy in life, however, was his family. Danny is survived by his three loving children: Sheana and her husband Ronnie Evans, Kenny and his wife Melissa McNabb, and Jessica and her husband Josh Mowry. He was a proud and doting grandfather to his seven grandchildren: Triston, Jayden, Kaelynn, and Jackson Evans; Traa and Hayleigh McNabb; and Brooklyn Mowry. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he delighted in their accomplishments and cherished every moment spent with them.
Danny is also survived by his five brothers: Lester and his wife Claudia McNabb, Junior and his wife April McNabb, Billy and his wife Jennifer McNabb, Darrell and his wife Sherry McNabb, and Benjamin Brewer; as well as his two sisters, Kim Biles and Crystal Partion. Danny was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews, who fondly remember his warmth and generosity.
In his leisure time, Danny enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for watching old western movies and wrestling shows, which brought him great joy and relaxation. Those closest to him remember his infectious laughter and the twinkle in his eye as he shared his favorite scenes and matches.
A private funeral service will be held to honor Danny's life, celebrating the love and memories he leaves behind. Although we gather privately, we do so with hearts united in remembering a man who was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
Danny Lee McNabb's legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to family and country. As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, we hold onto the cherished memories and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. As his family lovingly states, "Gone but never forgotten, Danny Lee McNabb, 1960-2026." His spirit will live on in each of us, forever cherished and never forgotten.
