In Loving Memory of Daniyah It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniyah, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, and friend, who left us unexpectedly at her home on July 21, 2026. Born on October 8, 2009, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Daniyah graced the world with her presence for 16 beautiful years. Daniyah was a beacon of joy and laughter, known for her caring heart and her ability to bring light into any room with her humor. She possessed a unique gift for making others smile, often found joking and lifting spirits wherever she went. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. From a young age, Daniyah had a passion for dance. She was often seen moving gracefully to the rhythm of her favorite songs, a reflection of her free spirit and zest for life. Her love for dance was only matched by her love for her family and friends, with whom she cherished every moment. Daniyah's presence was a reminder of the beauty in simple joys and the importance of togetherness. She is deeply mourned by her devoted mother, Startisha Willis, who was her greatest supporter and confidante. Daniyah was preceded in death by her father, John Corn, and her grandmother, Roslynn Willis, both of whom she adored and whose memories she held dear. A celebration of Daniyah's life will take place at 12:00 on August 14, 2026, at Toombs by Crystal Funeral Home, located at 4257 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the vibrant life she lived and the love she shared. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice in Daniyah's memory. Your thoughtful contributions will continue to honor her compassionate spirit and enduring legacy. Daniyah's memory will forever be cherished by all whose lives she touched.
