It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danielle Booker, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, who left this world on July 8, 2026. Born on February 23, 1968, in Lynchburg, Virginia, Danielle was a beacon of light and love throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she encountered. Danielle was the cherished daughter of James and Elizabeth Booker. She grew up in a home filled with warmth and kindness, values she carried with her throughout her life. Although her father, James, predeceased her, Danielle continued to honor his memory through her acts of compassion and generosity. A dedicated professional, Danielle worked in human resources for over 20 years. Her career was marked by her unwavering commitment to helping others and fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace environment. Danielle was not just a colleague but a mentor and friend to many, always ready to lend an ear or offer guidance. Danielle's most treasured role was that of a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, Taylor (Parriss) of Humble, Texas, and Jamie Perry of Richmond, Virginia, who were the pride and joy of her life. Danielle's legacy of love continues through her two adored grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness and laughter. Throughout her life, Danielle was known for her infectious smile, her generous spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel special. Her home was always open, a haven of warmth and hospitality where family and friends gathered to create cherished memories. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Danielle's memory to a charity of choice, reflecting her lifelong dedication to making the world a better place for everyone. Danielle's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the beautiful life she led, and the profound impact she had on all of us.
