It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Rios Martinez, age 40, who departed this life on February 21, 2026, in a tragic e-bike accident. Daniel was born on August 22, 1985, in the vibrant city of Zamora, Michoacán, Mexico, to his loving parents, Jose Luis Rios Villagomez and Natalia Rios Martinez. Daniel was a man of exceptional charisma and boundless energy, known for lighting up every room with his infectious smile and warm spirit. He was the spark of every gathering, bringing joy and laughter to all fortunate enough to be in his presence. His love was unconditional, his heart pure, and his desire to speak the raw truth was a testament to his genuine and sincere soul. Daniel had an insatiable thirst for knowledge, always seeking to understand more about the world and the people around him. Beloved by his family and friends, Daniel's legacy is carried on by his parents, Natalia and Jose Luis Rios, and his treasured daughter, Tulciie Rios. He leaves behind a close-knit family, including his siblings Julio Cesar Rios, Guadalupe Huerta, Luis E. Rios, Evangeline Brown, Betsabe Parsons, John Parsons, Abigail Mondragon, and Jonathan Mondragon. His memory will also be cherished by his nephew Jonathan Rios and nieces Damaris and Genesis Rios. A service to honor Daniel’s remarkable life will be held on February 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Perez Family Funeral Home, located at 3150 Loma Vista Rd, Ventura, CA 93003. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Daniel are invited to gather and celebrate the beautiful legacy he leaves behind. During this difficult time, the family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered their support, donations, and assistance. Your kindness and compassion have been a source of comfort and strength. Though Daniel's physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him.
