April 17, 2001 — April 2, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Jackson, beloved son, fiancé, sibling, and friend, who left us on April 2, 2026, just shy of his 25th birthday. Daniel was born on April 17, 2001, in the vibrant city of St. Paul, Minnesota, where he spent his life bringing joy and light to all those who knew him. Daniel, affectionately known to many as Danny, was a beacon of love and laughter. He was the cherished son of Doug Jackson and the late Toya Jackson, whose nurturing spirit and warmth he carried forward in his life. He leaves behind a deeply mourning yet grateful family, including his devoted fiancé of nine months, Alaysha, who shared in his dreams and aspirations. Also grieving his loss are his father, Douglas Jackson, his siblings Dianna Jackson, Deshawn Harrison, and Kailo Jackson, along with his loving extended family: Marlo Whitfield, James Whitfield, Jamila Jackson, Chayil Raymond, Fabeyona Harrison, Daniel Jackson Jr., and Sierra Harrison. Daniel is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Toya Jackson, his grandfather Curtis Jackson, his older cousin Larry Harrison, his great-grandfather James Harrison, and his great-grandmother Maimie Jackson. Their love and legacy live on in the precious memories Daniel created and cherished. A man of humor, charm, and an outgoing personality, Danny had a unique way of connecting with people. His laughter was infectious, his reliability unwavering, and his presence undeniably magnetic. He touched the hearts of everyone he met, forming friendships that were marked by mutual respect and joy. Danny was a lover of life, especially when it came to sports and music. He found immense pleasure in playing all sports with his siblings, his competitive spirit matched only by his talent and enthusiasm. Singing was another passion that filled his days with happiness, often bringing those around him together in shared moments of joy and harmony. Family kickball games were especially dear to Danny, where he displayed not only his athleticism but also his ability to create lasting memories filled with laughter and love. These moments, treasured by his family, will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege of experiencing them. Daniel's life will be celebrated in a private ceremony on April 18, 2026, at 11:00, held at the beautiful and serene Oz Park, where family and close friends will gather to honor his memory and the indelible mark he left on their lives. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find solace in the community of love he leaves behind and the lasting legacy of kindness and joy he imparted to each of us. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to honor Daniel's memory make a donation to a charity of their choice, reflecting his generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Rest in peace, dear Daniel. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us with your love and laughter.
