Daniel was the beloved son of the late Daniel Cope and Cheryl Skethway. He was a devoted father, leaving behind a legacy through his cherished children: Daniel Cope, Shawn Cope, Nathan Cope, and Joshua Windemaker. His family was the center of his universe, and he took immense pride in the lives and accomplishments of his children.
Daniel grew up in Harrisburg, where he attended Dauphin County Technical High, graduating in 1985. His education laid the foundation for a life characterized by hard work, dedication, and a keen sense of responsibility. Known for his strong work ethic and generosity, Daniel was always ready to lend a helping hand and was a steadfast friend to many.
He is survived by his siblings, Don Cope and Cristina Lithium, with whom he shared countless memories and a deep familial bond. Daniel was also a loving grandfather to six wonderful grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life. He treasured every moment with them, leaving them with stories and lessons that will be cherished for generations.
Though Daniel faced medical challenges, he approached life with courage and dignity, inspiring those around him with his unwavering spirit. He is predeceased by his parents, Daniel Cope and Cheryl Skethway, and joins them in eternal rest.
In keeping with Daniel's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his life and legacy. Family and close friends will gather to celebrate the beautiful memories they shared with him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to honor Daniel's memory consider making a donation to a charity of their choice, as a tribute to his generous spirit and enduring kindness.
