Daniel Benedict Liescheski, jr

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Daniel Benedict Liescheski, Jr. on May 18, 2026, at the age of 61. Daniel, fondly known to many as "Danny," was born on December 27, 1964, in Sealy, Texas, to Daniel Benedict Liescheski, Sr. and Linda Jean Roberts Liescheski. A proud graduate of Sealy High School, Daniel carried the values of his upbringing into every facet of his life. Daniel shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Rebecca Lynn Koester Liescheski. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership. He is survived by his daughters, Leigh Beth Nesbit and Sarah Steele. Leigh Beth and her husband, William Nesbit, brought light into Danny life with their children, Liam and Addison, his treasured grandchildren. Sarah and her husband, David Steele, along with their children, Alyssa and Aiden Todd, will carry forward his legacy of kindness and commitment. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. A memorial service to honor Daniel’s life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather and celebrate the man who meant so much to so many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Daniel’s memory.
