Daniel B Clarken
October 19, 1992 — August 2, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel B Clarken, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. Born on October 19, 1992, in Des Moines, Iowa, Daniel left us far too soon on August 2, 2026. He was a cherished soul who touched the lives of many with his kindness and humor.
Daniel was the treasured son of Kevin and Julie Clarken and the loving brother of Justin Clarken. He was a devoted father to his precious daughter, Kodie Clarken, who was the light of his life. Daniel's long-time girlfriend, Taylor Lindley, remained a loving companion and friend. His family was the center of his world, and he found immense joy in sharing his life with them.
A proud graduate of Urbandale High School in 2011, Daniel pursued a career in plumbing, earning his Certificate of Apprenticeship in 2024. He began his career at Premierr Plumbing in 2017 and later joined Sabre Plumbing, where he excelled in his craft. Daniel's dedication and skill allowed him to build homes from the groundwork to the final trim, a testament to his hard work and talent.
Daniel was a man of many interests. He loved spending time with Kodie, sharing laughter and creating memories. He enjoyed discovering new restaurants, gaming online with his brother and friends, and spending time in the mountains of Colorado. Daniel was known for his generosity and willingness to help anyone in need, leaving a lasting imprint on those fortunate enough to know him.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Harold and Betty Clarken, Larry and Sharon Musselman, and his great aunt, Beverly Musselman. Their memories, along with Daniel's, will be forever cherished by his surviving family and friends.
A service to honor Daniel's life will be held on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM. In remembrance of Daniel, the family kindly suggests donations to be made to his daughter, Kodie Clarken.
Daniel's gentle spirit, warm laughter, and kind heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace, enveloped in love and light.
