Daniel A. Sanchez
March 12, 1930 — August 21, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the passing of Daniel A. Sanchez, who left this world on August 21, 2026, at Palomar Hospital in Escondido, California. Born on March 12, 1930, in Needles, California, Daniel lived a life filled with love, service, and dedication to his family and community.
Daniel's early years were spent in Needles, where he graduated from Needles High School. Following his education, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy from June 9, 1950, to April 7, 1954. His time in the Navy instilled in him a strong sense of duty and camaraderie, traits that he carried throughout his life.
In 1977, Daniel married Virginia, the love of his life. Together, they built a beautiful family, cherishing the joys and challenges that life presented them. Though Virginia and his step-daughter Barbara have preceded him in death, Daniel's legacy continues through his surviving family: his four sons, Keith, Daniel, Eric, and Alphonso, and his four step-daughters, Teri, Bridget, and two others, as well as his beloved sister, Carmen. His life was further enriched by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose presence brought him immense joy and pride.
A man of many passions, Daniel was a dedicated member of the Masonic Temple, a commitment he maintained for many years. His involvement in this esteemed organization reflected his values of integrity, brotherhood, and service to others.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to all who supported Daniel during his final days. They are especially thankful for the visits, phone calls, and gestures of kindness that brought comfort to Daniel. Your thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed and is cherished by all who loved him.
A celebration of Daniel's life will take place on November 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Masonic Cemetery, located at 1177 Santa Margarita Drive, Fallbrook, CA. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Daniel are invited to attend and honor his memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, in recognition of Daniel's commitment to helping those in need.
Daniel A. Sanchez will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and loyal friend. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his spirit will forever be a guiding light to his family and community.
