Dana Latrice Brown Williams

September 17, 1979 – October 6, 2026 Dana Latrice Brown Williams, a cherished daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, niece, auntie, friend, and community member, passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 47. Dana was born on September 17, 1979, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Edward C. Brown and Kathrine Ann Thomas. She attended Bonanza High School, and her last place of employment was Wingstop. Dana will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, compassion, and love for her family. Family held a special place in Dana’s heart. Through all of life’s circumstances, her love for her family remained strong. In honor of Dana’s life and memory, her family is encouraged to continue loving, respecting, supporting, and caring for one another. Let her memory serve as a reminder that family is precious and that love should continue even through difficult times. Dana was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eddie Thomas, Otharee Thomas, Ottis Brown, and Mary Brown, as well as her cousin, Marshon Dent. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Anthaniqua Shelby, Danielle Shelby, Nazha Smith, and Raynisha Denson; her five beautiful grandchildren; and her siblings: Suran Thomas, Lakeisha Thomas, Charles Brown, Jamil Vanscyco, Edward Watkins, Donisha Smith, and Antoinette Brown. Dana also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory. Dana Latrice Brown Williams will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her spirit will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and the many cherished memories she leaves behind. May the love she had for family continue to bring everyone together.
