Dan is survived by a large and loving family, including his 15 children and 30 grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life. An avid fisherman, Dan found solace and joy on the water, often sharing his passion with those he loved. He was also a dedicated fan of the San Francisco 49ers, cheering for his team with enthusiasm and loyalty. Dan's intelligence and wit were evident to all who met him, often leaving others in awe of his wisdom and insight. Yet, it was his enormous heart and boundless love for others that truly defined him. Dan embraced everyone he encountered with warmth and generosity, making each person feel valued and understood. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Dan's life, in accordance with his family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist, a cause close to Dan's heart. While Dan's physical presence will be dearly missed, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
