In Loving Memory
Damion Patterson
August 18, 1997 — May 15, 2026
With a heavy heart and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Damion Jarrell Patterson, a beloved son, brother, and friend to many. Damion, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, left this world unexpectedly on May 15, 2026, at the tender age of 28 due to a heart attack. Born on August 18, 1997, in Louisiana, Damion was a beacon of joy, laughter, and light, illuminating the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Damion was a creative and artistic soul whose passion for beauty and design was evident in every facet of his life. His love for music resonated deeply, offering him both a soundtrack and a solace throughout his life. He found joy in the freedom of skating and the elegance of cars, always seeking small ways to make life brighter and more colorful. Yet, above all these interests, it was his unwavering love for his siblings that defined him. Daron, Mariah, and Xavier were not just his siblings but his heart’s pride and greatest joy; his love for them knew no bounds.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fredrick Patterson and Deborah Jones, whose memories he cherished dearly. Damion is survived by his loving parents, John and Patrica Patterson, who nurtured his spirit and encouraged his passions. His devoted siblings, Daron Smith, Mariah Patterson, and Xavier Patterson, remain to carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.
Gone too soon, but forever 28, Damion is our beautiful angel, loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. In times of grief, we find comfort in the words, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18.
A service to celebrate Damion’s life will be held on May 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, located at 1921 Main St, North Little Rock, AR 72114. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home and everyone who has offered their support during this difficult time.
In honoring Damion’s memory, may we all strive to find beauty in the everyday and to cherish the love of family and friends as he did so beautifully.
