Dalia Saed

January 29, 1997 — September 15, 2026

In loving memory of Dalia Saed, who graced this world with her presence on January 29, 1997, in the vibrant city of Damietta, Egypt. Dalia's journey was marked by her boundless enthusiasm for life and her unwavering dedication to those she cherished. She left us far too soon on September 15, 2026, due to a sudden illness, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and joy. Dalia was the beloved daughter of Abdullah Saed and is survived by her devoted mother, Bedoor Saed. She was soon to be married to her fiancé, Farouk Shousha, whom she became engaged to on February 3, 2026. Dalia's grandfather, Mohammed Saed, predeceased her, yet his love and influence remained a guiding light in her life. A proud graduate of Cairo University in 2020, Dalia found her calling in education and began her career at Brookeview Elementary School. Over five years, she touched the lives of countless young students with her passion and commitment. Her hard work and devotion were recognized when she was honored as Teacher of the Year in 2024—a testament to her dedication and impact. Dalia's life was a mosaic of adventure and compassion. She had a deep love for hiking and traveling, often seeking out new experiences and cultures. Her heart was as expansive as her curiosity, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Known for her radiant smile and quick wit, Dalia brought laughter and light to every room she entered. Her ability to go above and beyond for her loved ones was a hallmark of her character. A service to honor Dalia's life will be held on September 16, 2026, in Cairo, Egypt. The family invites those who knew and loved her to join in celebration of the beautiful life she lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Dalia's memory to the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project, an organization close to her heart. This Tucson-based initiative embodies the values of compassion and support that Dalia held dear. As Dalia's family reflects on her life, they share these words of comfort: "Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch." Dalia's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
