Born on July 19, 1942, in Michigan City, Mississippi, Daisy graced this world with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Daisy was the beloved daughter of J.B. and Icee Malone, whose nurturing spirit she carried throughout her life. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Willie (Bill) Gibson, and their cherished son, Troy Lee Gibson. Daisy is also reunited with her cherished parents, and her siblings, J.T. Malone, J.R. Malone, Emmitt Malone, Willie Malone, Thurston Malone, Mae Francis Malone, and Ruby J Harlin. Daisy leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience through her surviving family: her devoted son Willie and his wife Annie, her treasured grandchildren Bryson Morrow, TaMarcus Morrow, LaPorsche Gibson, and Kadijah Gibson, and her twelve precious great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her later years. She is also survived by her beloved sister Matilda and her husband Warren Lewis, and her brother Don Malone, who were steadfast companions throughout her journey. A proud member of the Union Hill M.B. Church, Daisy found spiritual solace and community under the leadership of Rev. Massey. Her faith was a guiding light, and her dedication to her church was an inspiration to all who knew her. Daisy’s passions extended beyond her faith; she was an avid fisherwoman who found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of casting a line. Her greatest happiness, however, was found in the company of her family, where her love was boundless and her home a haven. A service celebrating the life of Daisy Lee Gibson will be held on August 8, 2026, at Union Hill M.B. Church, located at 295 Union Hill Rd. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her memory and the indelible impact she made on all our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, a gesture that honors Daisy’s giving spirit and enduring legacy. Daisy Lee Gibson's life was a testament to love, grace, and resilience. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit remains alive in the hearts of those she touched, offering comfort and inspiration for generations to come.
