It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dadrain Murjan Omar, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left this world peacefully at his home on July 17, 2026, after a courageous battle against diabetes. Born on February 15, 1981, in Long Beach, California, Dadrain's life was a testament to love, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family and friends. Dadrain was the cherished son of the late Kenneth Hall Omar and Detra Wells. He was preceded in death by his devoted parents, as well as his grandparents, Grant and Clara Moltimore, and Joe and Flossie Davis. The impact of his life will be eternally cherished by his surviving family, including his loving wife Dianna Omar, whose partnership was a source of strength and joy. As a devoted father, Dadrain's legacy lives on through his children: Dadrainana Omar, Kaylin Brown, Dadrain Omar-Henry, Miracle Motton, and Ja’niya Crayton. They were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent nurturing and guiding them. Dadrain is also survived by his siblings, three brothers—Kenneth Omar Jr., Devin Wells, and Dominique Jones—and one sister, Yolanda Jenkins. His special aunt, Audrey Pringle, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends, will forever hold him in their hearts. Known for his love and passion for cooking, Dadrain found joy and connection in sharing meals with his loved ones. His culinary creations were not just food but expressions of his love and creativity, bringing people together in celebration and comfort. A service to honor and celebrate Dadrain's life will be held on August 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Robbin Brothers Funeral Home, located at 204 S. Fair Ave, Benton Harbor, Michigan, 49022. Family and friends are invited to join in remembrance and share in the love and memories that Dadrain so generously gave throughout his life. In the spirit of Dadrain's generosity and care for others, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to a diabetes research foundation or a charity of your choice. As we mourn the loss of Dadrain, we also celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family and friendship. We take solace in the words of the family, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
