Cynthia Webber, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her deeply. Born on August 28, 1955, in Houston, Texas, Cynthia was the cherished daughter of James Armstead Webber and Thelma Louise Webber. Her life was a testament to love, service, and unwavering strength, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. Cynthia proudly served her country as a dedicated member of the United States Air Force, beginning her career in June 1976. Her commitment and exemplary service earned her numerous accolades, including the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal, among others. Her military journey continued even after her retirement, as she served as a civilian employee with the same dedication and honor until her health no longer permitted. A woman of sincerity and kindness, Cynthia was known for her ability to love deeply and unconditionally. Her wisdom and insight touched many lives, providing guidance and encouragement when it was most needed. Her honesty, though sometimes difficult to hear, was always spoken from a place of love and genuine care. Cynthia’s loyalty and truthfulness were the cornerstones of her relationships, making her a treasured friend and confidant. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, James and Thelma Webber, and her brothers Anthony, Kevin, and Larry Webber. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her son, Clayton Webber, her cherished brothers Effrum and Gary Webber, her sisters Undria, Brenda, and Alma Webber, her beloved aunts Al Jewel Lewis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her military family, and friends. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother, and she leaves behind one grandchild to carry forward her loving spirit. A service to celebrate Cynthia's life will be held on October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, located at 5530 Van Fleet St. The family invites those who wish to honor Cynthia’s memory to consider making a donation to a charity of their choice. In a heartfelt message to her son Clayton, Cynthia shared a mother's love that transcends time and space. Her words, filled with pride and gratitude, offer a lasting reminder of her unwavering support and belief in his potential. She encouraged Clayton to live fully, love deeply, and carry forward the lessons she imparted. Cynthia Webber’s life was a tapestry of love, service, and integrity. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift future generations. Cynthia’s journey has come full circle, but the love she gave will remain a guiding light for all she touched.
