It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia S. Brown, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully at her home on May 6, 2026, at the age of 65. Born in the charming town of Greenville, South Carolina, on January 6, 1961, Cynthia was the cherished daughter of Charlton E. "Shot" Seawright and Edna L. Seawright. Her father, Charlton, preceded her in death, but the values he instilled in her lived on in the way she touched the lives of everyone she met. Cynthia is survived by her two loving children, Kelly Tortora and her husband Pat, and Eric Brown and his wife Alexis. Her legacy of compassion and kindness continues to thrive through them. Cynthia's heart overflowed with love for her five adoring grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Chase, Eric, and Erica. She was a dearly loved sister to her siblings, Dianne Patterson (Brian), Terri Craig (Dale), David Seawright (Gail) ,Tim Seawright, and Mike Seawright (Paige), Dean Beasley. Cynthia shared a special bond with each of them, and their memories together are filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering support. In honor of Cynthia's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate her life and to say goodbye. Her family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and asks for privacy as they grieve the loss of their beloved Cynthia. As we say farewell to Cynthia, we hold tight to the precious memories she gifted us. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Although she is no longer with us in person, her love will continue to shine down upon us, guiding our paths and inspiring us to live with the same kindness and grace she exemplified every day of her life.
