Her life was a tapestry of love, devotion, and nurturing, woven together with her characteristic calm demeanor as the matriarch of her family.
A proud alumnus of Farmington High School, Cynthia graduated in 1966 and went on to study nursing at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Although she did not pursue a career in nursing, her nurturing spirit was evident in the way she cared for her family. She dedicated her life to raising her four children, Michelle (Dean), Deborah (Dean), Scott (Sara), and Tim (Megan), allowing her beloved husband Michael to establish and grow a successful family business.
Cynthia married her high school sweetheart, Michael, on August 13, 1966. Their marriage of 48 years was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a life centered around family, first in Farmington Hills, where they raised their children, and later in their dream home on Baseline Lake in Pinckney. Their home was a gathering place for creating cherished family memories.
Cynthia had a passion for cooking and home decorating, and her creative spirit shone through her various hobbies, including sewing, stained glass making, dollhouse building, and ceramics. Her artistic endeavors were a reflection of her vibrant personality, bringing beauty and joy into her home and the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her children, sister Delores, brother Robert, and her cherished grandchildren: Mackenzie, Brendan, Gabrielle, Zachary, Lucas, Mason, Audrey, Anthony, and step-grandchildren Grant and Elliot. Her legacy of love and family will continue to live on through them.
