In Loving Memory

Cynthia Hine
August 18, 1961 — April 23, 2026
It is with great sadness and profound love that we announce the passing of Cynthia Hine, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully in her home on April 23, 2026. Born on August 18, 1961, in Houston, Texas, Cynthia was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for her giving heart and an infectious laugh that could light up any room.
Cynthia was the cherished daughter of Ernestine and Leroy Marburger, who predeceased her, along with her brothers Terry, Harold, and Kenny Marburger, her sister Sandra Marburger, and her grandson Trevor Hine. Despite the heartaches of loss, Cynthia continued to embody resilience and grace, traits that she lovingly passed down to her surviving family members.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Tiana, TaCora, Trava, Sara, and Laura, who were the center of her world. Her legacy continues through her ten treasured grandchildren: Trinity, Trace, Tabytha, Tegan, Trent, Tessa, Torrey, Thedra, Tyler, and Trae, each of whom brought immense joy and laughter into her life.
Cynthia had a zest for life that was truly contagious. She adored spending time with her grandchildren, often taking them on spontaneous road trips to explore new places or simply to enjoy each other's company. Her love for adventure was matched only by her passion for gardening, where she found peace and joy 'digging in the dirt.'
Late-night conversations with her daughters were among her most cherished moments, moments where she shared her wisdom, humor, and unwavering support. Cynthia was never too busy to pick up the phone, always ready to offer encouraging words or simply a listening ear. Her love for family was boundless, extending even to her furry companions, whom she delighted in chasing around the yard.
Cynthia was also a collector at heart, amassing a vast array of trinkets that told the stories of her many adventures and experiences. Her playful spirit shone through in her love of playing cards, where her strategic mind and cheerful banter were always a hit among friends and family.
Her passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide those she loved. Cynthia's life was a testament to the power of compassion, laughter, and the importance of family bonds. As we bid farewell, we celebrate a life well-lived and find comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind.
A private family service will be held to honor Cynthia's life, and a larger celebration of life will take place at a later date to allow all who knew her to gather and share in the joy she brought to this world. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Cynthia's name to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous nature and lifelong commitment to helping others.
Cynthia's laughter, love, and light will be forever cherished, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
