In Loving Memory

Cynthia ( Cindy )
September 17, 1968 — September 19, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Cynthia "Cindy" Blair, who departed from this world on September 19, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on September 17, 1968, in New Albany, Indiana, Cynthia was a cherished daughter of the late William Robert Blair Sr. and Mary Juanita McKinney Blair, and her life was a testament to love, warmth, and familial devotion.
Cynthia spent her formative years in New Albany, where she attended Madison Consolidated High School. It was there that she cultivated lifelong friendships and began to shape the compassionate and kind-hearted spirit for which she will always be remembered.
Cynthia’s life was enriched by her deep affection for her family, especially her daughter, Juanita Waters, and her son-in-law, Thomas Waters. Her four grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense joy in watching them grow and thrive. Her brothers, Kevin Blair and his wife Beth, Bill Blair and his wife Janeen, and Allen Blair, were not only her siblings but her lifelong friends and confidants.
Cynthia had a special passion for the long-running soap opera "Days of Our Lives." She found comfort in the familiar stories and characters, and she cherished the quiet moments spent with a warm cup of coffee, enveloped in the world of her favorite show.
Those who were fortunate enough to know Cindy will remember her for the unwavering love she gave to her family and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and the cherished memories she left behind. Although she is no longer with us, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
The family invites those who wish to celebrate Cynthia's life to a memorial service on October 13, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the Faith Revolution Church, located at 6080 Highway 335, Crandall, Indiana, 47114. In the spirit of Cynthia’s giving nature, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in her honor.
As we say goodbye to Cynthia, we hold onto the words, "Forever In Our Hearts," knowing that her love and light will continue to guide us in the days to come.
