March 8, 1968 — October 28, 2026

Cynthia "Cindy" Dale Howell, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2026. Born on March 8, 1968, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Cindy was a vibrant soul who brought joy and laughter to everyone she met. Cindy was the cherished daughter of Ruth Elaine Rowe of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Carmon Delano Rowe, who, along with his wife Gail, resides in Florence, Alabama. She was predeceased by her dear husband, Mark Howell, as well as her maternal grandparents, Oval and Ellen Haynes of Paragould, Arkansas, and her paternal grandparents, Everette and Gracie Rowe of Grundy, Virginia. She leaves behind two daughters, Sarah (Steven) Wheat and Cecily (Jarod) White, her five grandchildren—Erica and Colton Wheat, Gabby, Zoey (Ian) Fischer, and Elijah White—whom she treasured deeply. Cindy grew up surrounded by her siblings: sisters Robbie (Jay) Bennett of Grundy, Virginia, Marsha (Jeff) Newell of Russellville, Alabama, Crissy (Josh) Slater of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Margaret (Ric) Taylor of Paragould, Arkansas, and her brother Matthew (Wendy) Rowe of San Diego, California. Several nieces and nephews filled Cindy's family; especially Mattie (Cleatus) Taylor of Paragould. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and her connections with each of them were a source of immense joy and strength. Cindy had a profound love of music that resonated throughout her life. Her ability to make people laugh was one of her most endearing qualities, and her infectious humor could light up the darkest of days. Cindy's legacy is one of love, laughter, and resilience. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her and were touched by her kindness and warmth. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Cindy's generous and compassionate spirit. Her memory will be cherished forever by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
