Curtis R. Williams

August 5, 1960 — June 1, 2026

Curtis R. Williams, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully from natural causes on June 1, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on August 5, 1960, in the warm, welcoming community of Pineville, Louisiana, Curtis was the cherished son of Frankie Dixon and Milton Williams. Curtis was a man whose heart matched the size of the small town that embraced him from the day he was born. Pineville, with its gentle southern breezes and close-knit community, shaped Curtis into a person of warmth, integrity, and kindness. He carried with him the values of his upbringing throughout his life, always striving to make the world a better place for those around him. His journey through life was marked by an unwavering dedication to his family. Curtis was a pillar of strength and support, a constant source of wisdom and humor. He shared a special bond with his sister, Linda Pressley, and her husband Joseph, as well as with his three brothers, McLarry Williams, Edward "Eddie Bo" Williams and his wife Leah, and Keith "Pepper" Williams and his wife Monza. To them, Curtis was more than a brother; he was a confidant, a mentor, and a lifelong companion. Throughout his life, Curtis had a profound appreciation for the simple joys—whether it was a heartfelt conversation, a good book, or the beauty of nature. His love for life's little treasures extended to his community, where he was known for his generosity and genuine spirit. Curtis never hesitated to lend a helping hand or share a laugh, leaving a legacy of kindness that will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Curtis's gentle spirit and compassionate nature were a testament to the love and care he received from his parents, Frankie and Milton. They instilled in him a deep sense of respect for others and a commitment to living a life of purpose and compassion. As we say goodbye to Curtis, we hold dear the memories of a life well-lived and a heart that touched so many. His legacy will continue to inspire us to cherish our loved ones and approach each day with gratitude and love. A service celebrating Curtis's life will be held in Pineville, where family and friends will gather to honor a man who brought so much light into the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a chosen local charity, reflecting Curtis's lifelong dedication to giving back to the community he loved. Curtis R. Williams will be profoundly missed but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to share in his life's journey. May he rest in peace, forever embraced by the love he so freely gave.
