Curtis Doyle Cooper, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 23, 2026. Born on April 29, 1963, in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma, Curtis was the cherished son of Pamela K Harper-Smith and the late Doyle W. Cooper. Curtis was a man whose life was defined by his love for family and friends. He had a passion for football, playing for his high school team as running back. Among his hobbies he enjoyed playing fantasy football, studying the financial markets, and going to concerts. He graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 1981, embarking on a journey that would see him graduate from Sam Houston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. On May 28, 2000, Curtis married the love of his life, Jamie Cooper, in a beautiful ceremony in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Over the course of their 26-year marriage, Curtis and Jamie built a life filled with love and laughter, nurturing a warm and welcoming home for their two sons, Nicholas and Connor. Curtis was a devoted and supportive father, always encouraging his sons to pursue their dreams with dedication and integrity. Curtis is survived by his loving wife, Jamie, his sons, Nicholas and Connor, his mother, Pamela Harper-Smith, his sister, Christel Cooper, and his nephew, Angelo Cooper. Curtis's father, Doyle Cooper, predeceased him, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories. Curtis was a man of quiet strength and deep compassion, known for his quick wit and generous spirit. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and his ability to find joy in the simplest of moments. His love for his family was boundless, and his friends remember him as a loyal confidant and a source of unwavering support. A service celebrating Curtis's life will be held on September 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Alpine Bible Church, located at 310 East State St., Lehi, Utah 84043. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Curtis's memory and to share in the stories and memories of a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Curtis' name to Alpine Bible Church and will be used to help the family with expenses. His legacy of generosity and love for others will continue to inspire all who knew him.
