September 21, 1970 — June 23, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Crystal Harrison, who left this world on June 23, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on September 21, 1970, in Toledo, Ohio, Crystal's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family and community. Her departure was peaceful, as she succumbed to a heart attack after a courageous battle with a terminal illness at Toledo Hospital. Crystal was the cherished daughter of Irene Harrison and Leonard Gibbson. She was predeceased by her dear father Leonard and her older sister, Catherine Harrison, whose memories she carried close to her heart. Crystal's legacy lives on through her two devoted sons, Marquise Fields and Mandrid Green, and her cherished daughters-in-law, Paige West and Myranda Johnson. Her siblings, Carmella, Teonna, and Latoya Harrison, along with brothers Keith Wright and Austin Harrison, survive her and will continue to honor her memory. A proud graduate of Scott High School, class of 1992, Crystal dedicated 18 years of her life as a caregiver, a testament to her nurturing spirit and unyielding compassion. Despite retiring due to health challenges, including arthritis and a hip replacement, she remained an indomitable force of nature. Crystal was a beacon of light and hope within her community. She was an active and devoted member of Paul Baptist Church and found purpose in advocating for women's rights through her involvement with the Wayman Palmer YMCA. Her strength and resilience were matched only by her kindness and ability to uplift those around her. Her leisure time was filled with simple joys—tending to her garden, organizing garage sales, and treasure hunting at Goodwill. Saturdays were sacred for Crystal, a time to unearth hidden deals and bask in the delight of discovery. Her annual barbecues were legendary, and she opened her home for game nights every other Friday, filling it with laughter and warmth. Crystal was a woman of remarkable character, known for her bright spirit and infectious smile. Her ability to bring joy was unparalleled, yet she could also stand firm when necessary, demonstrating strength and resolve. Her presence illuminated every room she entered, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her. A service to celebrate Crystal's extraordinary life will be held on June 27, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, located at 428 N Erie Street. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who enriched Crystal's life, acknowledging the loss felt by those who knew her radiant spirit. As we gather to honor her memory, we hold in our hearts the hope that she is now watching over us from heaven. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to organizations close to Crystal's heart, continuing her legacy of care and compassion. As we unite in remembrance, let us carry forward the love and light that Crystal brought into this world, and find solace in the knowledge that she rests in eternal peace.
