Crystal peacefully departed this life on July 17, 2026 @1:36am, at her home in Hamden Connecticut, with her devoted husband, Robert O'Brien, by her side. She was 61 years old. Born on August 19, 1964, in West Haven, Crystal was the cherished daughter of the late Mark and Dorthy Bost. She grew up in a loving household that instilled in her a sense of compassion and a commitment to helping others, values that she carried with her throughout her life. Crystal dedicated her professional life to caring for others, working as a nurse for the VA since 1998. Her colleagues and patients remember her as a beacon of kindness and professionalism. Her tireless dedication and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered, providing comfort and solace to countless individuals in their times of need. Crystal was the beloved wife of Robert O'Brien, with whom she shared a profound love and partnership. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and shared dreams. Their union was a testament to the power of love and commitment, and their bond was unbreakable. Crystal was the proud mother of three children: Shamika Ridely, Ebony Marie Aiken, and Sr.Michael Oscar Aiken. In addition to her parents, Crystal was predeceased by her mother, Dorthy Bost, and her father, Mark Bost.
