June 25, 1981 — May 17, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Crissy Ann Wegman, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world far too soon at the age of 44. Crissy passed away on May 17, 2026, as a result of a tragic car accident. Her bright spirit and unyielding zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Crissy was born on June 25, 1981, in Hooven, Ohio, to her loving parents, Ted and Donna Moses. She was a vibrant child whose curious nature and infectious laughter were the hallmarks of her personality. She grew up in a home filled with love and warmth, alongside her brother, T.R. Moses, who predeceased her, along with her cherished niece, Karmin.
A proud graduate of Harrison High School, Crissy continued her education at Cincinnati State, where she pursued her interests with passion and determination. She embarked on a versatile career path, initially captivating audiences as a clown who juggled, a testament to her fun-loving and adventurous spirit. She later found her niche in the jewelry industry before dedicating herself to her role as a Billing Coder for Beacon Physical Therapy. Her colleagues remember her as not only competent but also as a beacon of positivity in the workplace.
In 2012, Crissy married the love of her life, Scot Wegman, forming a bond that was both beautiful and inspiring. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of their pets, who were like children to them. Before her marriage to Scot, Crissy shared a deep friendship and engagement with Janet Valentine, a testament to the enduring connections she cultivated throughout her life.
Crissy was an active member of a local biker foundation since 2013, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and adventure that defined her life. Her hobbies included being an avid MMA enthusiast, a passion she embraced with vigor, and the simple joys of spending time with her pets and twiddling her thumbs. These pursuits reflected her unique blend of coolness, friendliness, and the endearing strangeness that made her so special.
Her family fondly remembers Crissy as someone who was unapologetically herself—cool, fun, friendly, nice, and delightfully strange. Her presence brought warmth and joy to every gathering, and her absence will be deeply felt.
In honor of Crissy’s memory, a private funeral ceremony will be held, respecting the family's wishes for an intimate farewell. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Hairloss Society, reflecting Crissy's own challenges and the compassion she extended to others.
The Wegman and Moses families would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who knew and loved Crissy for embracing her unique spirit and for celebrating her life with them. They cherish the memories of her laughter, her boldness, and the love she shared with everyone she met.
May Crissy Ann Wegman’s soul find peace, and may her memory continue to inspire and uplift us all.
