Coylee Overton JR (Buddy)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Coylee Overton Jr. on August 18th 2026 affectionately known as Buddy, born on July 19, 1961, in Brooklyn New York, Buddy was a cherished son, brother, and friend. In 1975 buddy attended Grover Cleveland high School in Queens New York, as his life continued he moved to Monticello New York where he pursued a career in security, where he moved up in ranks to become a security supervisor for 12 years. Buddy was the beloved son of the late Coylee Overton Sr. and Earlene Overton. he was the second to five siblings Angelina Overton Scott, Regina Overton who preceded him in death, Troy Overton and Montie Overton, three sister-in-laws, Erica Overton, Cecilia Overton, Suzette Overton, and one brother-in-law Joseph Scott, Buddy leaves behind his cherished children Tiffany Overton, CoyLee Overton Ill, his three grandchildren Tranayhia Simmons, travell Albritton, skye Chapman, two great-grandchildren Matthew Soto and Ja'naya Soto. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, as well as his cousins. Buddy enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends. He was very outspoken and a jokester. He loved his egg foo young, enjoyed his Pepsi, and always had a dollar in a dream, that's why he love to play the lottery numbers.
