In loving memory, we honor the life of Courtney Neville, a spirited soul who filled our lives with warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. Born on November 25, 1980, in Eunice, Louisiana, Courtney graced our world with her presence until March 18, 2026, when she peacefully concluded her battle with illness, leaving behind a legacy of joy and kindness. Courtney was the beloved daughter of the late Allen and Genevieve Neville. Her life was a testament to the values they instilled in her: compassion, resilience, and an ever-present smile that could light up any room. These qualities were present in every aspect of her life, from her career to her cherished family gatherings. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Louis Thomas, with whom she shared a profound love and partnership. Together, they raised a beautiful family, who survive her: her children, Kaylon and Kaevon Thomas of Eunice, LA, Jamila Scott of Baton Rouge, LA, and Scott Bullock of Eunice, LA, who will carry forward her legacy of love and laughter. Courtney is also survived by her sister, Tammie LeBlue, her nephew, Brylon LeBlue, and her niece, Amaya LeBlue, all of Katy, Texas. Cherished as "babies in love," Kamari Thomas and Ah’voni Thomas will fondly remember their beloved Courtney. Although she leaves no grandchildren or great-grandchildren, the seeds of her nurturing spirit have been planted in the hearts of all who knew her. A proud alumnus of her local schools, Courtney's career was primarily spent in the food and beverage industry at the Coushatta and various casinos. Her dedication and infectious positivity made her a cherished colleague and friend. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, a trait that endeared her to many. Courtney was a lifelong member of New Zion Baptist Church, where her faith was a guiding light. Recently, she joined the Butterfly Ministry and was a constant presence at Vacation Bible School, always ready to assist wherever needed. Her commitment to her community and church was unwavering, and her spirit of generosity knew no bounds. In her leisure time, Courtney cherished moments spent with family and friends, often enjoying meals at Fiery Crab with her closest companions. Her laughter and joy in these moments are memories that will be treasured forever. A celebration of Courtney’s life will be held on March 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM at New Zion Baptist Church, located at 251 Nimitz St, Eunice, LA 70535. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support through calls, texts, donations, and presence. Your love and generosity have meant the world to them during this difficult time. Courtney Neville lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an enduring sense of joy. Her spirit will forever illuminate the hearts of those she touched. As we gather to remember her, we do so with gratitude for having shared our lives with such a remarkable woman.
