It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Courtney Antwon Davis, who left us to be with the Lord on June 14, 2026, at the age of 43. Born on September 13, 1982, in Quincy, Florida, Courtney was a beacon of light and love, cherished by all who had the privilege to know him. Courtney was the treasured son of Katrina Lasharon Davis Hinson, who predeceased him, and Burley Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Melinda Thomas Hinson Williams, grandfathers Charles Davis, Elijah Pender, and Robert Williams, and uncles Ricky Battles, Darrin Lightfoot, and Ervin Wilson. Their memories and love shaped the man Courtney became, leaving an indelible impact on his life and spirit. Courtney's family was the cornerstone of his world. He was a loving father to his two sons, Courtney Antwon Davis Jr. and Courtlyn Major Davis, who were his pride and joy. He is survived by his grandmother Everline Pender and grandfather Otis Hinson, along with his wife Roberta. His legacy of kindness and joy will be carried on by his aunts Otisha Hinson Golden and Patricia Wilson, uncles Otis Hinson and Bobby Wilson, and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins who all held a special place in his heart. Courtney was a man of many talents and passions. His love for music was evident in his hobbies of rapping and singing, where he expressed his innermost thoughts and emotions through melody and rhythm. He was also a gifted artist, finding solace and inspiration in drawing, where he brought to life the beauty he saw in the world around him. Known for his warm smile and generous heart, Courtney had an uncanny ability to bring joy to those around him. Whether offering words of encouragement, sharing a hearty laugh, or lending a helping hand, he touched the lives of many. His love for family and friends was boundless, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Courtney's memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will last a lifetime. As we say goodbye, we hold tight to the love and laughter he shared and celebrate the remarkable life he led.
