June 9, 1994 — May 5, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Coty Moffitt, cherished son, devoted father, beloved brother, and dear friend. Coty departed this world on May 5, 2026, at the age of 31, after a stress-induced heart attack. Born on June 9, 1994, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Coty was a beacon of warmth and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. Coty was the beloved son of Crystal Moffitt and Charles Sheppard. He is survived by his loving son, Lucas Reed, who was his greatest joy and source of pride. Coty also leaves behind his siblings, Shalakmia Moffitt, James Easter, and Devon Moffitt, who will forever cherish the memories of their shared laughter and adventures. A graduate of PennFoster, an online schooling program, Coty was a testament to perseverance and dedication. He worked diligently as a delivery driver for various businesses, always greeting colleagues and customers alike with his quick wit and warm smile. Coty’s heart was as big as his dreams, and he dedicated much of his time serving the community by feeding the homeless and guiding troubled youth onto better paths. Outside of his professional life, Coty had a deep love for basketball and music. Whether shooting hoops or crafting new melodies, these passions were an expression of his spirit and creativity. Above all, Coty loved spending time with his son and the ones he loved, treasuring each moment with them. Known for his ability to make others feel valued and appreciated, Coty possessed a unique gift for lifting spirits despite his own struggles. His kindness and compassion will be missed but never forgotten by those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by his presence. A service to honor Coty’s life will be held on May 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Laboure Church, Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, located at 4000 Derry St, Harrisburg, PA. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate a life that was beautifully lived, though far too brief. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their support and care during this difficult time. Coty’s family encourages all who knew him to carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and boundless generosity. May his soul find peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
