It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Costa J. Rodriguez, who departed this world on October 11, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on August 26, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Costa was the beloved son of Armando and Jenny Rodriguez. He passed away with dignity, surrounded by the love of his cherished family, after a truly courageous battle with cancer. Costa's life was a testament to love, family, and the pursuit of knowledge and beauty. For 60 wonderful years, he shared his life with his devoted wife, Susan Rodriguez. Together, they crafted a beautiful family, inspiring each other and those around them with their enduring bond. Costa was a proud and loving father to his son Rennie Rodriguez and daughter Nicole Rodriguez, and a cherished father-in-law to their spouses, Kelly Connor Rodriguez and Chris Veneziali. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Ave' and Tomas, Ashley and Gabe Guzman, and Joshua and Jennifer Ortiz, as well as his great-grandchildren Skylar, Kennedy, Emily, and Harmony. Costa's passion for travel, art, and culture was not only a personal joy but also a professional calling. As a travel and tour specialist, he established his own independent agency, sharing his extensive knowledge and love of world cultures with countless travelers. A graduate of the original Barnes Foundation, Costa was deeply involved in the arts, believing in the authenticity of experience and the power of cultural exchange. In his community of Chestnut Hill, Costa was a respected and active member, known for his exceptional commitments and his intolerance for inequalities. His warmth, wit, and generosity touched everyone he met, leaving the world a better place. As a devoted family man, he delighted in the accomplishments and joys of his children and great-grandchildren, and his strong spirit continues to be carried forward by those who knew and loved him. Costa's life was one of adventure, learning, and love—a life well lived. His family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of care and compassion shown to Costa and them during this challenging time. In honor of Costa's enduring love for nature and the environment, memorial contributions may be made to the World Wildlife Fund. Costa J.
