In Loving Memory

Cory kilbride
March 25, 2026 — March 28, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cory Kilbride, a beloved son, friend, and adventurer. Cory was born on March 25, 1983, in the picturesque town of Cavendish, where he embraced a life filled with the simple joys and the profound beauty of the outdoors. He departed this world far too soon on March 28, 2026, at the age of 43, doing what he loved most—riding his cherished Harley-Davidson.
Cory's life was a testament to the power of passion and the peace found in nature. He was the beloved son of Marie and the late Milton Kilbride, who instilled in him a love for the open air and the thrill of the journey. Cory was predeceased by his father, Milton, whose spirit continued to guide him in every adventure he undertook.
A true outdoorsman at heart, Cory was happiest when surrounded by nature’s splendor. Whether he was patiently waiting for the perfect shot during hunting season or casting his fishing line into a serene lake, he found solace and joy in the great outdoors. Many of his fondest memories were made under the starlit sky, warmed by the glow of a campfire and the laughter of friends and family.
Cory's love for life extended beyond the wilderness to his passion for mechanics and craftsmanship. His shed was his sanctuary—a place where every tool had its rightful place and every project was approached with dedication and care. His steady hands and meticulous nature were a reflection of his character, a man who lived with integrity and purpose.
Those who knew Cory will remember him as a man of simple pleasures, with a heart as vast as the landscapes he adored. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, an enduring love for the rugged outdoors, and a collection of stories that will continue to be shared and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A service to celebrate Cory's life will be held on April 1, 2026, at 2:30 PM, fittingly in the place where he found so much joy and solace—his shed in Cavendish. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor the life of a remarkable man whose spirit will forever roam the trails he loved so dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a local nature conservation organization, ensuring that Cory's love for the outdoors continues to inspire and protect the natural world he so deeply cherished.
Cory's journey may have ended, but his spirit will continue to ride the wind, forever free and forever remembered.
