In Loving Memory

Cory Terryonia Jones
September 12, 1997 — August 18, 2026
Cory Terryonia Jones, age 28, was born on September 12, 1997, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Tracy Jones. Cory departed this life unexpectedly on August 18, 2026.
Cory was a loving son, father, brother, family member, and friend. Above all else, Cory loved his children, Comorion Tra’Shawn Jones and Corrion TaHir Jones, who were the center of his heart and his greatest reason to keep going.
Cory loved money, music, and living life on his own terms. He was a devoted fan of NBA YoungBoy and also enjoyed the music of Rich Homie Quan and Kodak Black. He had a free spirit and a personality that could never be confined to one description.
Those who knew Cory will remember him as a trying man—someone who kept trying, even when life was difficult. He was a free spirit, strong‑willed, and someone who did not give up easily. Cory had to grow up faster than he should have, and carrying those responsibilities exhausted him at times. But instead of allowing the things he lacked growing up to define him, he used them to shape the father he wanted to be.
Cory came from circumstances where he did not always have the guidance and direction a child deserves. As he became a father himself, he made a conscious effort to give his children something different. He wanted to be the father he never had. He wanted to take care of his children, provide for them, and be there for them in the ways he wished someone had been there for him.
His life was not perfect, but it was his. He was learning, growing, trying, and finding his way. And despite everything he carried, he continued to love his children and fight for the life he wanted for them.
Cory leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Tracy Jones; his children, Comorion Tra’Shawn Jones and Corrion TaHir Jones; his siblings, Terryonia Jones, Mysha Jones, and Stacy Jones; and a host of extended family members, loved ones, and friends who will forever carry his memory.
He was preceded in death by his sibling, Myyo Jones; his grandmother; his favorite aunt, Keiva; his uncle, Terryonia; and his best friend, Taveon Parker.
Cory’s time on this earth was far too short. He had more life to live, more lessons to learn, more memories to make, and more moments to share with his children. But after spending so much of his life trying to carry the weight of everything around him, he can finally rest.
His children will carry his name. His family will carry his memories. And the people who loved Cory will carry the pieces of him that made him who he was.
