Corkey passed away from natural causes, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and love that will forever be cherished by all who knew him. Born on February 26, 1936, in the charming state of North Carolina, Corkey's life was a testament to the virtues of hard work, resilience, and generosity. Throughout his journey, he touched countless lives with his genuine kindness and unwavering dedication to his family and community. Corkey was a man of great character, whose gentle spirit and infectious laughter could light up any room. He was a devoted partner and a true friend, always ready with a listening ear and a helping hand. His love for his family was boundless, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of Corkey's life will be held on October 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. The service will take place at the Bronx Christian Charismatic Church, located at 1069 Morris Ave, Bronx, NY 10456. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Corkey are warmly invited to join in honoring his memory.
