Corey Marable, a beloved father, son, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on July 7, 1973, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Corey was loved by many and will be profoundly missed by all whose lives he touched. Corey was the cherished son of Valerie Marable, who nurtured his natural curiosity and adventurous spirit from a young age. Growing up in Morgantown, Corey developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of the Appalachian region and carried a love for the outdoors throughout his life. A dedicated father, Corey leaves behind his two beloved children, Alicia Marable and Corey Marable Jr. As a parent, he instilled in them the values of kindness, resilience, and the importance of family. He has 2 sisters Shanetha Marable, Dachelle Maglionico. Corey took immense pride in their accomplishments and cherished every moment spent with them. Corey's unexpected passing, due to a heart attack, has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. His warmth, generosity, and vibrant personality will be remembered by all who knew him. His laughter was infectious, and his ability to make others feel at ease was a gift that endeared him to many. The Marable family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all who loved Corey and supported him throughout his life. In accordance with the family's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Corey's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Corey's memory are encouraged to make a donation to a charity of their choice in his name, reflecting his spirit of giving and compassion.
